Summmary
Ed drums his fingers on the table while Izzy and Stede argue over whether a princess would actually stick around to watch a guard deal with an assassin or if she’d be more likely to run off screaming. He always enjoys the fire in Stede’s eyes when he gets firm, and the spark in Izzy’s eyes when he refuses to admit Stede’s got a point.
But every second they argue is a second he isn’t a princess about to get assassinated and rescued.
Ed, Stede and Izzy are fully prepared for some sexy roleplay where Princess Ed gets rescued from Assassin Stede by Guard Izzy. They even have a script written by Stede, so nothing can go wrong!

Written for Bad Sex Bingo on Tumblr and the prompt 'Only one of us is taking this scene seriously'.
At first I figured I'd lean into Izzy's inability to do improv, but then I thought, why not bring in High-strung Director Stede from 1x06 as well? Things took an angstier turn than I expected, but they all talk things through!
